Queen's Hall at State Library Victoria

A reading room fit for a queen

The stunning architectural detail of Queen's Hall has captivated visitors since it first opened on 24 May 1859. Thanks to generous funding from the Victorian Government, the Ian Potter Foundation, philanthropists, and the public, Queen's Hall is being restored. It will reopen as a reading room by 2020.

This online exhibition features the digitised collections of State Library Victoria. It demonstrates how resources collected using Trove lists can be reused through the Trove API to create new interfaces and applications.

This exhibition was created by Katie Flack, Coordinator, Collection Development & Discovery, State Library Victoria. It is based on Tim Sherratt's (@wragge) brilliant DIY Trove exhibition code.
